The Hope Center is fortunate to have a dedicated team supporting the garment manufacturers and handicraft artisans.
Here are some of them:

Anh’s Story
Anh’s family is very small with only two of them left. Her father passed away a while ago while her mother died just three months ago. She has one older sister who is married with two children. Regrettably her sister lives far away and they are unable to visit each other very often.
She was a normal baby. But in her second year she became ill which affected her legs severely leaving her with one short leg. This disability affected her immensely during her childhood. She was unable to walk and had to crawl on the floor to move around.
Unable to walk she was excluded from attending school. When she was 13 years old the authorities supported her by giving her a wheel chair. This meant that she could go to school for the first time. She managed to do well at school until the 6th grade.
During this time her mother became seriously ill and she had to leave school in order to help her in the home. For two years she attended to the family until by chance she had the good fortune to be introduced to the Hope Center. She arrived at the Hope Center in 2003 with not much else but hope. She doubted whether she could learn anything.
Her first few months at the Center were difficult. She had lost all confidence in her own abilities and found it very difficult to study again. It was fortunate that the teaching staff at the Hope Center understood this and showed extra care with her. They encouraged and nurtured her and eventually she was able to find faith in her own capabilities again.
During her time at the Center she has also had some serious problems with her heart and had to undergo surgery. She was fortunate that the Hope Center paid for her operation and the after care she required.
The Hope Center not only provided her with vocational skills and overall care but also gave her a sense of achievement in her own skills. She has also learned how to use crutches for extra mobility. But she is not the only one. She sees how the Center looks after all its members and it feels to her like it is one big family.
